Bottle Factory Flea, a vintage and secondhand market, will fill Hackney Bridge with more than 40 traders on Sunday 8 November, from 10am to 4pm.

Entry is £5 from 10am to midday, for first pick of the stock, and £3 from midday until close, according to the organiser’s Eventbrite listing. Tickets are on Eventbrite, and the listing says numbers are limited.

The market was started in 2021 by the collective behind Peckham Car Boot, London On The Inside reports. It is named after its first home, a 126-year-old Victorian building in South London that once belonged to the bottling firm J Mills & Sons. Recent editions have drawn up to 2,000 people.

What is where

Furniture, homeware and one-off pieces will be on the ground floor, which also has an indoor bar. Vintage clothing and accessories will be on the mezzanine, which is reached only by stairs, with no lift. Outdoor stalls will sell more clothing, accessories and furniture, alongside street food.

Hackney Bridge is a canalside venue in the Echo Building on East Bay Lane, across the River Lea Navigation from Hackney Wick. The listing puts it seven minutes’ walk from Hackney Wick station and 12 minutes from Stratford, with bike parking on site.
