Tortoise headline Hackney Church on Wednesday 4 November, and the Dalston Takeover fills five venues on Saturday 7 November, as Pitchfork Music Festival London, which opened at Moth Club in Hackney on Monday 2 November, runs until Sunday 8 November with most of its gigs in Hackney, Dalston and Shoreditch.

The festival runs until Sunday 8 November. Its venue list includes Moth Club, Hackney Church, Hackney Empire, EartH, Cafe OTO, Oslo Hackney, St Matthias Church, The Victoria and Village Underground, alongside KOKO, the Roundhouse, the ICA and the Royal Festival Hall, according to the festival’s website.

Monday’s opener at Moth Club, part of a Pitchfork London Selects run at the venue, has Horse Jumper of Love, Jawdropped and Hammok on the bill, according to Pitchfork’s schedule. Tickets were listed at £28.98 on DICE on 2 November.

Moth Club, on Valette Street, hosts five of the festival’s nights. Hackney Council refused a second plan for flats next to the venue on 29 October, after it warned that complaints from new neighbours could force it to close (Made in Shoreditch reported the decision).
