Go Ape, the UK’s multi-award winning forest adventure company, is busy putting the finishing touches to Go Ape Battersea Park ahead of welcoming its first visitors on Thursday 10th December 2015. Go Ape Battersea Park will be the company’s 29th site in the UK, its first adventure to be built outside of a forest environment and the closest to central London.
Set in the heart of Battersea Park and incorporating some of the park’s tallest trees, Go Ape Battersea Park will offer a new twist on the well-established Tree Top Adventure. Higher and more physically challenging in parts, it’s an exciting tree top obstacle course that is suitable and safe for anyone aged six and over.
Tristram Mayhew, Chief Gorilla at Go Ape commented: “We’ve long wanted to bring our award winning high wire tree top adventure to the centre of London, and are delighted that Go Ape in Battersea Park is a first for any city in the UK. The highest obstacle crossings are double the height of most Go Ape courses, and many are twice as long as usual, making them extra wobbly and challenging.Go Ape is about creating adventures and encouraging everyone to live life adventurously.
