America Reimagined: Logan Zillmer’s fine-art photography

From the appearance of his photographs, it seems like Logan Zillmer spent years in school learning the art behind Photoshop to produce his prints. Instead, the photographer self-taught himself to master the form so that he could mix it with his photography. His combination surrealist conceptual photography with Photoshop garnered ZIllmer recognition from around the world. He takes the ordinary to the extraordinary with conceptual elements added into each photograph he produces with help from his keen eye for detail. The combination has worked well to gain him clients like Converse, Tumblr and The New York Times- T Magazine. In 2014 he was named “Photographer to Watch” in Tumblr’s Year in Review. He uses his images to display modern American experience that hints at narrative wit similar to that of Charlie Chaplin.
