Shoreditch has one large art-supply shop: GreatArt on Kingsland Road. Several shops named in earlier versions of this guide are not in Shoreditch. London Graphic Centre is in Covent Garden and Cass Art’s nearest branches are at King’s Cross and Charing Cross Road. This guide sets out what is where, checked against each shop’s website in October 2026.
GreatArt London
41 to 49 Kingsland Road, E2 8AG. Open 10am to 7pm Monday to Saturday and noon to 6pm on Sunday. GreatArt opened this, its first UK shop, in 2016. It covers about 800 square metres over two floors, with materials for painting, drawing, sculpture, printmaking, illustration, airbrushing and model making. The lower floor holds stretched canvases and easels. Hoxton Overground station is a few minutes’ walk away.
