Dreams are the perfect place to get to know the human race and ourselves. This is what artist Chiara Luise explores with her series of works. Currently studying and working in Milan, Luisce is fascinated by the world of the subconscious and the world of dreams. Although she graduated in languages, her main passion is her art.
Since she was young she has been fascinated by the mystery of the unconscious mind. She believes the unconscious translates into vivid dreams. This is exactly what she tries to portray in her work. Her works are dark and mysterious and portray subjects in a dreamlike and strange state.
Dreams, she says, are one of her dearest passions. She combines this with the regard she has with the expressive power of women as subjects. Most of her work, after all, focuses on women painted by her, a woman.
