House of Hackney, the interiors brand known for its maximalist prints, will hold a sample sale at The Box in Hackney from Friday 6 to Sunday 8 November, with up to 80% off.
The brand’s listing calls it “the biggest House of Hackney sample sale yet”. Stock includes wallpaper, fabrics, rugs, furniture, paint, curtains, home accessories and Christmas gifts and decorations.
There is nothing to book. Entry costs £2, and House of Hackney says the money goes to Hackney Food Bank.
Times and how it works
The sale opens from 10am to 6pm on Friday and Saturday, and from 11am to 5pm on Sunday. The Box, which hosts sample sales for several brands, says on its page for the sale that prices start at £10 and advises arriving early to avoid long queues.
London On The Inside, which reported the dates on 23 October, singled out the fringed lampshades and sculptural lamps. One-off furniture pieces tend to sell first, according to The Box.
House of Hackney asks shoppers to bring reusable bags.
Where the brand is based
The sale is in Hackney, but House of Hackney’s London showroom is in Shoreditch, in St Michael’s Clergy House on Mark Street.
